the Ferrari years …

Nigel Mansell drove for Ferrari during the 1989 & 1990 seasons, he was the last driver to be contracted by il direttore himself, Enzo Ferrari
he would go on to score 3 victories (the first driver to win a Grand Prix with a semi-automatic gearbox), 8 podia, 3 pole positions & 6 fastest laps
during the 1990 season Nigel was becoming more & more frustrated with the reliability of his Ferrari & announced he would retire at the end of the season … until Frank Williams contacted him to drive the Williams-Renault in 1991, the rest is history
